New for 2025! We are so excited to have added the beautiful Hedemora to our flock! We can't wait to see what colorful & unique chicks hatch from this group.
 
Hedemora are a cold hardy land race chicken. Because they are a Land Race they have no "standard". Hedemora hatch in a variety of colors and patterns. They can be fibro or non-fibro, Feather Shanked or Clean Shanked, and can be smooth (typical feather type) or "Wooly". Wooly Hedemora will have fur like feathering that resembles that of a Silkie. They are a small framed chicken and stay quite petite. They will lay off white - tan shades of eggs that also remain on the small side. 
 
Our flock consists of both Wooly and Smooth, as well as both feather shanked and clean shanked hens. Our Rooster has some fibro, so we are hoping to see some Fibro offspring.
